The Asian Paralympic Committee praises the Kingdom of Bahrain as the host of major Paralympics events

Mr. Majid Rashed, President of Asian Paralympic Committee stated: “It is an exciting time for our region as Bahrain gets ready to host the World Boccia Cup in two months’ time. After Dubai, Bahrain has joined the league as the hosts for major Para sports events. This is not just helping grow popularity of sports like Boccia but helping the Paralympic Movement grow in the West Asia and Asia region.”

“The Asian Youth Para Games in December 2021 was a successful start to Bahrain Paralympic Committee’s journey, and we are very proud of their achievements. We are also very confident they will play great hosts to many more international events in future. I wish all members in the organising committee a successful event.”
