Fatima Abdulrazaq “Our Heroine” is a 54-year-old Para athlete with Limb deficiency, who is specialized in Athletics.
Fatima has competed in a number of competitions in Athletics.
She excelled and became a leading example for the Paralympic community and Bahrain. Fatima was the first Bahraini female athlete to win a gold medal in the F53 shot put at the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janerio.
In addition to many achievements, she has also won 6 gold medals and 5 silver medals.
In 2021, Fatima aspires to be qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games and is willing to participate in the West Asia Para Games 2022.
Fatima’s mother may God rest her soul in peace, she believed in her and after her death, her brothers and sisters continued supporting and encouraging her to develop her abilities as a Para athlete.

The Bahraini Para athlete champion Ahmed Meshaima started competing in the Paralympics since 2001 till now. He is very successful, winning several medals while competing in local and international championships. Ahmed competes in athletics, more specifically in javelin throw and discus throw. In 2004, he won a silver medal in shot put at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, Greece.

Ayman Al Haddi is a 48-year-old Para athlete with Cerebral palsy, specialized in Athletics and Boccia.
Facing physical challenges in Athletics, Ayman later shifted towards Boccia, where he excelled and became a leading example for the Paralympic community and Bahrain.
Born in 1973, Ayman has been part of several international and regional competitions since 1994. Since then, Ayman has been successful, winning several medals. He is married with 5 children and is now an integrated member of the Bahraini and sporting community, seen as a symbol of sportsmanship, determination and strength.
One of his major achievements was winning the silver medal in Discus throw at the 2000 Summer Paralympic Games in Sydney. He won 3 gold medals and 3 silver medals in 2019 in Boccia, in addition to many more achievements in both games.
He aspires to participate in the West Asia Para Games 2022, which will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His family are his first supporters, and after his marriage, his wife and 5 children continued to motivate him to accomplish all of his achievements.

Khalid Alsager is a 57-year-old previous Para athlete with Poliomyelitis, specialized in Athletics.
Khalid was very successful, winning several medals while competing in local and international championships.
Khalid competed in athletics, more specifically in 110 m steeplechase and Discus throw.
In 1992, Khalid won 1 gold medal in 110 m steeplechase at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in South Korea and 1 bronze medal in Discus throw at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona.
Currently, Mr. Khalid Alsager is a Board Member in the Bahrain Paralympic Committee.
